Daniel Corbett became January's fifth Grosvenor 25/25 Series winner when he took down the Manchester leg at the Bury New Road venue from 22-25 January.

A total of 282 entries and 14 re-entries produced a whopping £59,200 prize pool in Manchester and, following in the footsteps of previous January winners Ludovic Geilich, Neil Cartwright, Ian Tweedie and Gavin Manley, Corbett emerged as champion, scooping the biggest pot of the lot after agreeing a heads-up deal with Adam Southworth.

Both players agreed to take £13,000 and playing on for the balance of £1,635 and the trophy, Corbett winning that duel for a £14,635 payday.
