25/25 wins for Liperis, Moore and Powell

Three more 25/25 Series winners were crowned from 16-19 April, with Yiannis Liperis (pictured above) winning in Birmingham, Brian Moore in Didsbury and Seb Powell in Southampton.

The weekend's biggest winner was Powell, who turned his £220 investment into a £10,400 score after topping a bumper field of 176 runners in Southampton. With a prize pool of £35,200, Powell beat Alex Tang heads-up to claim the top prize, £6,800 going to runner-up Tang.

In Birmingham a four-way chop saw Mark Jones taking home £5,750 and Michelle Bricknell, Senh Ung and Yiannis Liperis all pocketing £5,465. They played on for the trophy and title with Liperis, who bagged third place in last month's Genting Poker Series event in Southend, taking the honours.

There was another bumper field in Didsbury, where 231 entries saw the prize pool climb to £46,200. Another deal was agreed at the G Casino, with Adam Bromley, Andrew Clark and Brian Moore agreeing to take £9,225 apiece. Moore went on to claim the trophy.
