Soriano Aleman wins Vic 25/25 event

With just the trophy to play for after a three-handed deal was hatched in the Grosvenor 25/25 Series London leg at The Victoria casino from 14-16 March 2014, it was Adrian Soriano Aleman who got to take it home.

Soriano Aleman had already scooped £15,000 after the deal was done, but it took a further 25 minutes before he could add the trophy to his winnings, beating Dost Ghrabie heads-up after Michael Magee had exited in third place.

With a deal already reached, which saw both Ghrabie and Magee taking home £12,255, it was Magee who exited first moving all-in blind the very next hand and losing out to Ghrabie.

And with just pride at stake it took another 15 minutes before Soriano Aleman moved all-in for his 3.7 million chips holding K-4. Ghrabie called with A-3 but a king-high board doubled up the Spaniard, leaving his opponent with about 1.5 million chips and just 10 minutes before he finally busted out leaving Soriano Aleman as the champion.
