Johansson takes deepstack title

European Deepstack champion Henrik Johansson

The Dublin Poker Festival took place at the Regency Airport Hotel from 30 January to 8 February, with the €200 Amateur Championship Of Poker (ACOP) main event opening the show.

A field of 457 runners brought a prize pool of €77,690, with David O'Kelly beating Darren Millar heads-up for the top prize of €15,900, Millar bagging €11,270 as runner-up, with third place going to James Daly who finished the tournament €7,865 better off.

The feature event of the festival was the €570 buy-in European Deepstack Championship, which took place from 5-8 February.

Sweden's Henrik Johansson outlasted the 449 entrants to claim a massive €41,900, with Dutchman Cornelis Gijsbrechts finishing second and Denmark's Berjar Rustom third.
